I never expected it would get imported, but I found a Blu-Ray of this film at Best-Buy last night. Gonna have a good time!

The movie is a bit of a mash-up of Iscandar and Comet Empire plot threads, and what they did to the Gamilons and Iscandar was just plain WEIRD. And Yuki gets the Kara Starbuck "tough chick" treatment that they reserved for Akira Yamamoto in the recent anime. I suspect more than a little of "Nu-BSG" influence behind the scenes.
Nevertheless, a fun time with no alcohol required!
