All I'll say is that, should that rule stand, it could seriously screw up the body images of an entire generation of Australian girls. If porn magazines contain nothing but images of large breasted women, then an increasing number of men who grow up with porn as their primary source of sexual exploration will develop fixations on large breasted women. This will in turn leave developing girls feeling as if they fail to match up to this warped concept of beauty, resulting in lower self-esteem.

on the topic of distorted body images: I'm not sure if dove had a similar campaign in Australia, but I think that more beauty companies need to do things like
this.
On the topic of the law: This is the kind of thing that sounds like a good idea on the surface (child porn bad!) but once you take a second/deeper look at it, it can only go wrong. Japan had a similar effect when they outlawed pubic hair in porn. I've read more than one paper that linked that law to the whole meme of 'tentacle porn on schoolgirls' issue.
but dragging this back to the general topic. ya this is going to be a bucket of fail, and if we are lucky it won't screw up the self image of girls down under.

I've found an article/editorial related to the

The real issue behind all of this was the fact that material which the OFLC won't classify was sneaking in and being sold under a R rating, the fact that some of the women featured have bodies, considered by many, of children and might act like such, is just icing on the ban-hammer.
Still we're also a country that doesn't have an R rating for videogames due to only one states' out of seven/eight attorney-general saying "no way!", so of cause what we ban's gonna be odd.

The Register for years, and I have yet to find an article that did not match what I knew from other sources. That's a better record than
Time Magazine has.
