Saw it earlier, and I'm happy to confirm that it's a damn good movie. Follows on nicely from the original, has some cringe worthy moments, but they're the sort that's supposed to make you cringe, and there was one moment very early on that made the entire audience wince in utter horror. Good movie, highly recommended.
And we've double topiced

.....Go See IT!!

That is all. Oh and stay to the end, the very end. Let the credit crawl scroll stop, and wait one..... that is what you think it is.

Also a true AC/DC iron man 2 soundtrack album would be a cd single. Ah sometime living in Australia is good. Let the commentary start.....next week.

I'll echo the recommendation to watch it, Iron Man 2 does not disappoint. It definitely wins a lot of points for fun factor Smile

Likewise here in the Somerset-New Brunswick NJ area. The big cinemas that would have it, don't.
ETA: Just doublechecked this while looking up something else.  Fandango lists IM2 tickets as available for prepurchase, with an opening date of 5/6.

So they get Iron Man a week early. It doesn't make up for the massive delay they have for console games.

I found out why it released earlier internationally, seems they wanted Box office from it before some silly international sporting event called the World Cup. *shrugs*
That said, AWESOME flick. Better than the average summer blockbuster.
Now I just gotta wait until they release a second Soundtrack album so I can get the retro-kitsch Stark Expo song from the end credits.

Maybe I just read rottentomatoes too much, but I can see why the reviewers weren't quite as happy with this one.  There's a lot of parts to Iron Man 2, and they down all come together as cleanly as the original.  That being said, I enjoyed it immensely.
I saw it on friday. It was a fun movie with a good mix of humor and action.

I just saw it yesterday, and enjoyed most of it. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head that made me cringe was the
As a side note, did you know that the iPod touch doesn't recognize the reply entry field on the 'add reply' page as a text entry field, but does recognize the 'quick reply' field? I didn't.

The key to this movie is that they actually have a real armor battle, as opposed to the first movie.  Well, two battles technically, but the ending one is the better of the two.
Loved it, even if they did try and cram a bit too much in there...
And yet... there was ONE "SUPER" villain. Everything else would have been collateral damage from Tony Stark, Billionaire playboy

Everything was pretty awesome, but I thought the very last battle with the 'supervillan' was a bit short, there was a lot of nice lead-up, but... yeah, short.
