I'd assume video projection for most of it myself. Render a 3D model of the space from a camera pov that matches the RW camera, then project the results and add some post production stuff

you can get some insane resolution now with projectors. 2K-4K (2048 to 4096 lines of resolution, double-quadruple HD) are on the market for relatively cheap.

As far as I can tell the image is projected from the opposite corner of the room, near the ceiling. If you pause the video at 0:15 you can notice the blue line bleeds over the edge. Aside from some very small alignment issues, this is a very cool idea. Took me a few minutes to figure out it wasn't backlit.
