They're usually out of it aswell when you get to the top. Most good stuff is usually gone by 11am after a 10am opening. (Or in some cases, has been snaffled by the staffers who've been there since 8). Oh, and god help you if you make derogitory remarks about the committee.

Eirtakon had a great line last year for the pre-registered people. It ended up taking longer for pre-reg's to get in, than for people who showed up on the day which caused more than a few ruffled feathers. Fortunately we didn't run out of baggies. The year before, we outright ran out of passes... most passes where photocopies because we underestimate how many people wanted to see Vic Mignonga.
