For awhile, due showing interest in the nook, I've been recieving advertorial email from Barnes & Noble. Sometimes it's had something interesting, sometimes not. A little bit better than the ones I've been receiving from Amazon, mostly about deals on powertools.

Well, today's B&N one's a doozy, they've unleashed on the ebook users the masses from the Pit of Voles. That's right they've opened the channel to let everyone* self-epublish.
I'll just link to the http://pubit.barnesandnoble.com/pubit_app/bn?t=support]FAQ page might make it clearer.

I think I'll just stick to what comes from normal channels for now, cause what I saw was repackaging of public domain titles and stuff I'd not touch, even from usenet alt.* groups "DYO!" indeed.

Well, that makes the service rather useless... at least, for my purposes.
