First preview chapter of Ghost Story is up.  Too bad we'll have to wait until late June for the rest of the previews, and July 26 for the book itself (preview release schedule here).

I read the first chapter when it was released, but imma wait until the book comes out now to savor the rest. I'd actually completely forgotten that Ghost Story was coming out.

I'm going to have to actually buy the hardcover Kindle version of this. Because audible decided to change the reader *cries a little inside*.

I'm sorry, but no one besides James Marsers (you know, spike from buffy) will measure up. He will forever be the voice of dresden I hear in my head.

He read the other 13 books, and they change the reader NOW?

Edit: after looking at delivery options, I'm going kindle. Cause getting it faster matters more than the minimal DRM that is there.

I would be a frenetic ball of squeeing joy if it wasn't so late

I swear Jim Butcher has an absolute gift for dropping little breadcrumbs of hints the whole while, and only when you get to the end is it revealed how things click together.

Any other comments I can make would fall into spoiler territory, so I will refrain.

Funny note. I GM a game most Thursday evenings. We met yesterday, then got no gaming done at all because we kept on discussing and fanpersoning out on the book.

After reading Ghost Story, I have to applaud Jim Butcher. It was awesome.

... I also want to punch him in the nose. I'd rather punch Harry, but I'll have to punch his creator instead.
