So... last weekend was the end of the Tulip Festival here in Ottawa. Very pretty - the tulips cooperated by being in bloom on time this year - and very busy.
This weekend is the Dandelion Festival in Kemptville, a half-hour south of Ottawa. (They don't have many tulips there, apparently.)

(There are some interesting buildings taking part for the first time this year - http://ottawa.ca/residents/heritage/doo ... en.html#39]Canada's oldest operating hydroelectric generation station, http://ottawa.ca/residents/heritage/doo ... _en.html#5]Ottawa's newest "green" habitat, the brand-new http://ottawa.ca/residents/heritage/doo ... en.html#68]city bus garage... I'll be busy visiting places again; hope I can visit some of the ones I missed last year.)
I still haven't sorted my photos from last year's Doors Open Ottawa...
