This came up on the Daz forums, in a thread about the dearth of realistic (or pseudo-realistic) armor models for female characters:

A brief discussion of armor, "armor," and how to make somebody in armor as sexy as somebody in "armor".

That came up on the RPG.net forum. My response was basically a big yawn. Pointing out that fantasy female armour designs are often impractical is hardly a stunning insight or big secret. Also, pointing out something that everyone already knows isn't going to change anything.
I liked it for the impractical male armor. I like seeing gender equality in the world (and maybe, just maybe people seeing that would *think* about what most females are put in).

While the ladies are usually greased and shoehorned into Mr. Badtouch the Smiths latest abomination - they are thankfully not the only ones being screwed over.
The film 300 took the Spartans - heavily armoured warriors and turned them out in helmets, shields, posing pouches and not much else.
posing pouches, I'll have to remember that term.
