The obligatory (not-so-)old joke: In commemoration, the three astronauts are to be driven to the commemoration ceremony, where Armstrong and Aldrin will get out of the car and make speeches while Collins goes around the lot a few times.

What the oulfella said about his experience watching the moon landing:

"I was sent to bed because I pushed (brother) out of a tree and put him in hospital. That's where everyone else was"

What the mammy said about her experience watching the moon landing:

I was five... Didn't see the landing on TV, but I do remember going outside with my father and looking at the Moon while he told me that people were actually there.
