Well, that's what I thought...

Impressed.
(Which says NOTHING about the quality of what the final film will be. Just that I'm impressed with the trailer and HOPE the movie lives up to it! Been burned once too many times with the prequels... )
Almost no lens flare to boot!.

On the other hand, I really hate how the hype machine now starts cranking up a full year before a film's release. I suppose it takes that long to complete all the VFX, but at the same time it's kind of pathetic. By the time it finally rolls around people will just be tired of the thing.

Dartz? The Hype Machine's been rolling on this since casting.

Well.... That just puts a point on it. By the time it rolls around everyone will have seen the entire film already with the amount of trailers caming out.

It's a JJ Abrams film, and I remember his Star Trek attempts. I expect what they're keeping out of the trailers is that the Millenium Falcon will turn out to have a giant oil refinery on the inside.

More like Day 1 Hour 1 of the initial announcement.
Also, yeah the trailer is cool, and associated memes are already popping up.

Just one day after the trailer, we already have the first remake:
Anyone up for some trade negotiations?

This should be a fairly epic train wreck. Remains to be seen how much Abrams will butcher it by.

Soccer Astromech is Best Astromech. I am so looking forward to this.
I like the fan's reactions to the silly new lightsaber design.

Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode.

I'm gonna side with Burnie on this one.
