We've replaced the Marauders from Harry Potter with four Marauders from BattleTech. Let's see what the Marauder's Map turns out like.
It's an actively updated portable dataterminal linked into the personnel tracking system of the local SLDF facility.
And as soon as it's hit with a hostile spell, it blows up.

Nah, Hardened Electronics, and built in Faraday Shield, all it does is lose power until the power cell is either replaced, or recharged.

But BattleMechs always blow up after taking damage!

Could be your Munitions. I usually manage to Shut down before going critical overload.  Then again What would I know, I'm crazy enough to use a full Star of Elementals.
