(For those who don't want to click the link: Canada didn't exist as a separate nation in 1812, the British burned the White House, and Trump apparently is no better informed on American History than he is on anything else.)

In response, Trudeau announced that Canada was going to build a big, beautiful firewall on the U.S. border, and that the Americans are going to pay for it.

And "we" only burned the White House because you burned down Toronto first. (And the damage in D.C. was limited to government buildings, despite the provocation of civilian buildings being burned by the yankees.) So, yeah.
