After six years the original Kickstarter thread has hit 300 messages, so time for a new one.

Previous thread is here.

Oh, and I just want to note that I backed Oddity High. I went for the $25 level, but I'd've done $40 or higher if any had been left. This looks like a fun game.
SJG is re-releasing The Fantasy Trip RPG, along with the Melee! and Wizard! boardgames.

Tempting, but shipping charges from SJGames to any address outside of the USA are ruinous.
International shipping charges in general are an issue, yeah.
Not to the extent that they are for SJGames. KS projects that use MakeThatThing for book creation and shipping have Canadian shipping charges so low that they're usually absorbed by the KS project. AnimEigo's charges for similar or slightly-larger size and weight shipments are much lower than SJGames', and I can't see the difference being attributable to the added distance from the Carolinas to Texas. Whatever the issue is, it's something that SJGames is doing that drives the shipping charges up.
You might be able to find someone in CA who's doing a group order and jump in with them.

He's opened up a Class Representative level that puts your into the "Schools & Settings" stretch goal supplement, so you've got another shot. (I'm contemplating an upgrade to that, or to the artless "Transfer Student" level.

It does indeed. (I went ahead and created conversions of the IOU sample students, and they worked surprisingly well; the only student whose essence I couldn't really capture was Og. Maybe a Quiet One/Time Traveler, once we have access to those playbooks...)

Really?  I must have missed the email.  <goes and looks>  Oh, wow, he's also reopened the original Class Rep level -- but there's only one left now and I can't remember my damned Kickstarter password.
Domina Magica - A Magical Girl RPG

I'm trying to decide whether to back at the School Girl (PDF only), Magical Girl (PDF + hardcover), or Magical Warrior (PDF + hardcover + character sheet pad) level. Or whether to back at a lower level and scale up or down as my available budget seems to indicate.
I'm going with the 2 hardcover set Wink
There are less than three days to go in the Pirates of Treasure Island kickstarter.

Ever wanted Long John Silver and crew in 28mm pewter? Now's your chance!

Fans of Glorantha should check this one out, too, for some nifty monsters and such.
It's All Just a Draft, a book of writing advice by Tobias S. Buckell. Yes, the one who sometimes writes for the New York Times.

The two highest tiers include him beta-reading your short story or novel and responding with at least one or two pages (respectively) of "thoughts and reactions", as long as you get the manuscript to him by the end of September.

EDIT: And since it isn't clear on the pledge page: $5 shipping to Canada.
Guild Master, a boardgame for 2-4, in which each player is the master of a guild of adventurers, and has to dispatch them on adventures, recruit new members, and build up your guildhall, all while competing with the other guilds for contracts and resources.
i think this is my first time posting a starter here but here it goes-

Sneak Attack Press is trying to launch Runewild again, it looks interesting and at least will provide hooks and notes for a Pathfinder campaign though i think it's built with D&D 5.0 in mind. They are currently at around $3500 of a $5000 dollar goal with 26 days to go, some decent incentives and even better stretch goals.

Morrus Wrote:Judge Dredd & The Worlds of 2000 AD is a standalone roleplaying game. You do not need any other books in order to play. This 250+ page book introduces you to Mega-City One, and allows you to play Judges, Perps, or Civilians in that futuristic metropolis. This is also the core rulebook for future setting books which will detail many of your favourite 2000 AD properties, such as Rogue Trooper, Sláine, Strontium Dog, ABC Warriors, and many more!

That's right, all the Thrill-Power of the galaxy's greatest comic, in orbit over your tabletop! And drokk me if that don't look like a Brian Bolland cover!

Sadly, I need to save my galactic groats, so I probably won't be backing this well zarjaz project, but I thought everyone here ought to know.

Splundigg vur Thrigg!
I just got an email from Rooster Teeth -- RWBY: Combat Ready is getting ready to ship, and they wanted to make sure my address is up to date.

I can't wait.
For those with fond memories of a certain Disney Afternoon show or any of a number of other shows and movies that involved small critters saving the day in a human world Jacob Kellog's Purple Aether Games is kickstarting a tabletop RPG Rodent Rangers: Small Heroes, Big Adventures.

Quote:Rodent Rangers is set in the modern world, with mice (and other small critters) living right under the noses of oblivious humans. While humans continue under the delusion that theirs is the only civilization, mice live happily in the walls, basements and sewers of human cities, furnishing themselves with the scavenged scraps of the humans' materials and tech.

The organization known as the Rodent Rangers is headquartered in the basement of the American Red Cross building in Washington, D.C. From there, teams of agents with a variety of skill sets are sent all over the globe on missions to help others, whether by rescuing lost or stranded civilians, bringing supplies to disaster sites, recovering stolen relics, or unraveling mysteries.

I got my email about that too Big Grin

LilFluff?  that sounds less like Rescue Rangers and perhaps more The Rescuers
Though I suppose there is some overlap

Reads more like "The Rescuers" than Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers but maybe worth a second, deeper look
Do you like historical anime but you don't want to watch it subtitled?

Let's Dub ALL OF Emma A Victorian Romance Anime TV Series

The Blu-Ray release with English dub for Season 1 is funded. They're less than $57,000 away from funding a dub of Season 2, with 13 days to go.

(And by "English dub", it looks like they mean "English dub", not "American dub" as much as possible. They've hired a dialect specialist.)

EDIT: $10 shipping to Canada.
Unfortunately Rob, it's region locked to the Americas. Being Dutch and not wanting the bother of having to set up an American region blu-ray player for only one series I'm afraid I'll be skipping this one.
A Girl Genius themed Munchkin set. Already funded and collecting stretch goals

Oh, and it got here two days ago.  Haven't played it yet, but I've unpacked it and it looks fantastic. If I remember to do so, I'll take some pics and post them here.
