So, after one move across the country, several "interesting" technical delays and a little too much procrastination, I've finally actually finished another story.

Oh well, it's not like it was set in the future when I started writing it...  Wait... no...  damn it.

Does it count as a twist ending when the twist I thought was coming didn't come?

I can see where that idea comes from, but it was mostly meant as nod to the fanfic notion of a "totally normal C rank" going all to pot, just because.   Once I've dusted off the wiki write ups and they're cleaned up it will probably surprise no one to learn that Erica is leading team 6b[0]
