Sometimes, you need finesse. Sometimes, you need power. Sometimes, you need to fight Vegita. This is for that last one.

Effect: multiple-nuclear-bombs-per-second level fire/heat/force projection, resistance to same, hypersonic flight that kicks in a few seconds before the explosion aura starts up
Note that this is not something Doug or the surroundings are guaranteed to survive using entirely intact; supernovas tend to be rough on the star as well as nearby planets. It will most likely need to tap into a ley line nexus, or perhaps direct conversion of matter to energy (by the pound, and not just one. More like "bring a backpack full of rocks if you don't want to use up body mass after emptying your digestive tract.") It definitely has a drastic mental effect, with everything but his immediate purpose getting drowned in the rush and strain of directing so much power at once, and when it's over he's apt to crash hard even in the best case. That said, sometimes the situation has crossed the Godzilla Threshold, and then Godzilla calls in Ultraman and the Power Rangers, and then they look around for anyone else nearby and say "HELP!"

I'm waiting for you, supernova
I’m waiting for you, supernova, supernova, supernova
I'm waiting for you, supernova, supernova, supernova
Drowning in a haze, and I just want to get in deeper
Purple skies with a million stars, I'm falling ground
These days when I’m losing track of time
These days when I'm burning up inside
These days when I'm lost to search the skies
Chorus:
I'm waiting for your last goodbye
'Cause I'm not over it, not over it
I'm waiting for your last goodbye
The kiss of time
Like thunder screaming out for a flash of lightning
Stars are falling down for God's applause
I’m waiting for the light of your supernova
Your last goodbye
I’m waiting for you, supernova, supernova, supernova
I'm waiting for you
When the lights go down, I’m still here, and I'm singing for you
When the lights go down, I can't let the music fade
I dive in deep and soar so high
I blow the ashes to free the sky
On a hill, I'm here to say goodbye
(chorus)
I'm waiting for you
As long as I dream, it ain't over, over
I'll break the chains of gravity
Oh, I long for your fire, yeah, I long for your fire
My heart is lost between the stars
Drowning in a haze, and I just want to get in deeper, deeper, deeper, deeper
(chorus)
I'm waiting for you, supernova
I'm waiting for you, supernova, supernova, supernova
I'm waiting for you
I'm waiting for you, supernova, supernova, supernova
Drowning in a haze, and I just want to get in deeper, deeper, deeper, deeper
