I have to agree with Dartz here, for as bad as the two sequels were, they at least gave it an ending that was and ending.

But that would mean they'd lose out on money they could get by sucking it out of the fans that now have restored their cash reserves and drill into the nostalgia of early noughties teens for fresh markets.
