WW2 has left most European cities a bit of a minefield.

It's surprising more people aren't killed.
Isn't a positively huge chunk of France still uninhabitable due to WW1?

As long as it IS an unexploded Hun bomb, and not something ... else.

I saw that movie back when dinosaurs walked the Earth (the 1970s).

Anything to support America's miners.
It creates jobs in the medical and prosthetic-manufacturing industries too!

Why does he hate Princess Diana?
Because she is insignificant in his quest to destroy all things Obama
Just so you know, I heard that in Darth Vader's voice.
I guess the good thing about giant space lasers is that they don't leave bombs behind for future generations. They may also not leave planets around either, but that's another problem.
Yes, well, if you'll recall Trump has already blatantly ignored the treaty prohibiting the militarization of space, what with creating his Space Force and all. Not that it's actually materialized yet, of course. Perhaps he wants the Martians to pay for it? A space station with a giant laser is really only par for the course there, all part of the program since the Reagan era proposals. What was that called again? Wink

Thankfully I was not drinking anything when I read that.  cause, um... yeah.
It's not as if the Soviet Union didn't have a few weapons up in space either over time, although the Space Force thing is probably going to get quietly get wrapped up and dissolved back into the USAF by the next president if they're anything even close to sensible.
Given the recent acquittal of Trump in his Impeachment? Nope. Not placing a single red cent on that bet.
Umm.... yeah, BA. hell, I winced when that news first hit.
