Dogbertcarroll has a new story which he is co-writing, here's the background from the start of part 1 (of currently 2)

Naturally this led to a discussion on 'what the smartest thing to do would be' which we were mainly in agreement on with some minor difference in detail based on personalities and preferences. This led to Mist writing: 'Myst and the Magic Shop' which he tossed on his (Place that Yahoo will not allow to be named).

Later while we were discussing the CYOA I used for 'Warranty Void if Soul is Broken' which is mainly the GForse1000's EYE CO, Rule 34 Economy CYOA version, we started spitballing on how his SI from the above named fic would respond to it and how to drop him in there.

Wanting as large an amount of points as possible he chose Summoning and Binding for method of drop in. That led to a discussion on who would be gullible enough to actually try and summon someone in Worm, what they would want, and most importantly… how he could slip the bindings so he could save the world and not be enslaved for a year and a day.

We decided the most gullible and easy manipulated person in Worm was Greg Veder aka Void Cowboy. I made a few jokes about how things would go and how ridiculous it was. We both laughed about it… then he called in a marker and said I had to write it. He said he'd write the Myst parts, so I'd only have to write half of it and I agreed.

Anywho, that's the backstory on how this little gem came to be and how Greg Veder became a powerful hero, got the girl, and saved Worm. Maybe… stories not done yet after all.

Mister Grin's Chaotic Good updated for the first time in a long time, which according to the A/N involves having lost a bunch of material to computer failure, and motivation with it. The story does feel a little disconnected as a result of the shift in plans after a long break, but it was a solid enough read in the past to keep on with now.

If you don't remember it, it's the Overlord fic where the MC recognized Yggdrasil Online as the game from the LN/anime from its earliest announcement and sets out specifically to invest all the time and effort he can into playing it to win, with "winning" defined as being as ridiculously OP and equipped as possible upon shutdown, and ends up being the devs' favorite explorer, new content tester, and RP'er right up to the end, by which time he's become a colossal elder dragon and a founding member of Nine's Own Goal/Ainz Oal Gown, looked up to as a crafter/NPC coder and the "wise old man" of the group. Then the shutdown and transfer happens, and unexpectedly Momonga is nowhere to be seen so MC can't just chill with his waifus or in his workshop and/or explore the New World while leaving running the place to him aside from the occasional advice, he has to actually wrangle the former NPCs and local politics and so on himself.

Note that the (offscreen in this part, and generally IIRC) nookie is frequent and occasionally plot-relevant, but the real fun tends to be in how MC sets up and then pulls off various schemes.

Not the greatest thing ever written, but I missed it while it was on hiatus.
