I am now the owner of two monitors, and I want to be able to use them with both my personal and business-issued laptops. That means getting a KVM switch with dual monitor support (which I know exist). The thing is, each laptop has a single VGA port and a single HDMI port. All I can find in local stores are KVM switches with dual HDMI ports.

Are there any KVMs out there that support VGA and HDMI at the same time? Since the computers are laptops (and one of them is my employer's property), I can't change the number and type of output ports available to me.

(Lacking that, is USB 3 to HDMI a thing?)

USB to HDMI adapter ($22)

VGA/HDMI KVM switches are there, but look spendy ($129). But I only did a quick scan.
OK, USB-3 to HDMI is absolutly a thing.  I've ordered several of these (or close enough) for work systems in my job. they work more than welll enough (A USB3 connection plus the built in HDMI port give 3 displays (Not including the bullt in screen of the laptop))
(EDIT: Ok, four as the built-in HDMI port can help plus the screen, but sometimes people have issues.  Being conservative here.)

Yes it has an included DVI to VGA adaptor.

Plus they're normally seperatly powered, if youwant to charge stuff without the laptop connected.
Lovely. Thanks, folks.
