Mod note: We've pulled some posts out of the pre-retcon "Planning for Arc 3" and "Planning for Arc 4" threads and moved them to the post-retcon threads, before sending the remaining work -- Black Aeronaut's overall plots, which we've been asked to not use -- to his writing subforum.

Quoting from Nabiki Tendo's page on the Ranma Wiki:

Quote:Near the end of the manga, Nabiki once helped Akane to grow spores from magic mushrooms, which could control age through digestion, but it is left to fan imagination if she continued to cultivate them for herself afterwards. Turning herself youthful again every 10 years is definitely something she would find useful, as would auctioning them off to billionaires.

So there's one life-extension method to add to the list...
Something to keep in mind is that Nabiki is smarter than that - I mean, marketing only to billionaires.

Why?

The same reason why there's so few Business-class and First-Class seats on even the biggest airliners: airlines make more money off of people flying Coach simply because you can cram more of them in.

In other words, being in business to serve only the 0.1% richest people in the world does not make for good business.  At least, not the kind of cash flow that Nabiki would prefer.  I mean, sure, it'll make her enough to live very comfortably.  But Nabiki wants more than just that.

She wants unparalleled success.

So, that said, Nabiki would probably market this stuff even to the Lower-Class, simply because there's more of them to buy her product.  Yeah, it'll be pricey as all hell for people in the Lower-Class... but being able to knock ten years off your biological age is the kind of second shot that people of the Lower-Class can make great use of.  Old aches and pains fade away.  Wear and tear is steadily reversed.  Earlier energy levels are restored.  And they can once more have the opportunity to take the bull by the horns.

Which would mean that a good number of these people, with their restored vigor combined with the wisdom of their years, will very likely graduate to being Middle-Class.

And the more Middle-Class people there are?  The better Nabiki's other business ventures go.  Keikaku Doori.
And here's the last one.  This is just a place holder for now, but given what's going on, better to have it and not need it...
Nobody's who is still actively writing has done any public planning for this part of the story, so I'm switching the "sticky" bit off on this thread.

There's a difference between "have it and not need it" and "have it and keep a spotlight shining on it".
