(Foundation. P-19) That's right, kids! Asimov makes statistics a  cool all galaxy spanning superpower! How's that for Geek chic? We don't need Jedi : we have Statisticians to save galactic civilization! 

At least they may save us on average...

On the other side, Marvel has LOTS of tiny groups of heros/villains that make a lot of changes... Marvel Earth would be the hell of Psychohistorians...

In Marvel, Hari Seldon would have Cosmic Awareness,  and mind control : Hail Foundation ! Also, instead of dying, he'd just plop his brain into a Kirby Bot and oversee his hobby horse 'till the End of Time (tm)!
