Number One is currently existing only in handwritten hardcopy at this point, which's why you haven't seen it.
And the apartment I just moved into doesn't have any sort of internet connection, which's why I'm sitting in one of the campus labs, killing time and slowly going (even more) insane.

The displacement pod came out of Non-Time within 0.1% of its programmed location, chronology, and motion vector.
This was about as expected, which was why its coordinates had been targeted nearly a thousand feet off the ground - it it had been aimed at the surface, then there would have been nearly even odds that it would emerge colocant with the earth... which would have been rather counterproductive to the survival of the pods' occupant.
The good news was that that same person was quite capable of flying on her own. The bad news was that the sky she came out in was quite adequately crowded already, and keeping from being pasted across half of Baumton by colliding or being shot by one of her fellow heroes, 'allied' villains, or any given member of the umpty-bajillion Rikti Drones swarming about was... nontrivial.
"Whups!" she said as she dodged around the thruster-wash of the crowd of combat robots following a woman in battle armor that couldn't have been intended to be anything but purely decorative - given its coverage-or-lack-thereof - and clipped the wingtip of some surly-looking guy who was hovering in place with four counterbeating feathered wings. "Sorryyyyy!" she tossed back over her shoulder, then dropped like a rock.
Flying just above street-sign level might make her a lot more likely to attract ground fire, but it was also far less crowded and would so allow her to move more quickly.
A quick subvocalised command pulled the location of her contact from her battleglasses' long-term memory and pasted a navigation marker on their heads-up-display. A grin split her face for a moment before being surpressed - opening her mouth in flight was just asking to catch a bug in her teeth, and once was enough, thank you.
There! she thought as she twisted around a corner and into the entrance of the buried road tunnel that housed the Zone's human command post. A moment of ballistic coasting brought her in past the defenses before she 'braked', dumping speed by accelerating hard in the opposite direction. It was less efficient than many other forms of flight, but it was what she had and it worked well enough. Besides, it let he-
...her thoughts ground to a dead stop at the sight of the costume her contact was wearing - sky-blue shooting stars on a cloud-white bodysuit, with heavy silver-metal gauntlets sheathing fists and forearms and laying heat-sink plates past the jointed elbow-pieces and along the outer sides of the upper arms. The suit, and the face above it, were an image she knew as well or better than her own in the mirror.
As well she should.
"...Papa?" she asked breathlessly, completely insensate to the crowd of curious onlookers.

Ayep.
Tidbit: in the past she remembers, Brightsky's father died as part of the rearguard that allowed Baumton's surviving civilian population to be evacuated before the Rikti completely overran the zone.
Even mission aside, girl's got some choices ahead of her.
