So a group of us did the Mender Silos TF tonight. Ankh, myself, Uni, MD, Wire, and Sweno.

Now, because of that number of players, we got the AV spawn of the Jade Spider at the end. Which has a nasty habit of coming back to life and spamming psi
damage(Sylia took 320, per second, at 300 yards) after you kill it the first time.

The thing is, Ankh didn't recall it being this hard the last time she'd played the TF, on an *eight* person team. She couldn't remember exactly why
it wasn't, though, so we didn't really have much to go on.

So I'm putting out a question here for anyone who may have recently(or memorably) defeated the Psi-Spam Spider, so we might find out if anyone knows how
it's actually possible.

thinking back on it, the time I did this with Fren we fought it from the oil rigs.

It may be that they are high enough off the ground to be out of range of the psi-spam.

The one movie I could find on YouTube of the Jade Spider fight showed it on the cargo containers near shore, which are almost tall enough to be higher than the
spider itself. The thing is, it didn't appear to be using its psi-spam as far as I could tell.

My Pearl of wisdom for the day.... The AV Jade spider is a Cheating Monkey!, Nemisis made it! He tricked Recluse into getting it made to draw attenion off of
himself so he can go make even more plots *grin*
Okay... So looking back through my screenshots/logs past, I'm not surprised to see my memory is faulty. I've done it twice, both times on Amber, and
both times with only a 4 people team. We had a vast majority of the Heroes too, so that might have helped defeat and/or distort the memory of it. One time of
Me Steph, Terr, and Acyl (With Space Mage); and then later with V with Bright, Atl with C8, Terr and Me. So... My memory was wrong and it was only an EB
Spider. Makes sense given the ease I remember it with..

Full team of 8 defeats Jade Spider

Horrible resolution, but maybe someone can pick out exactly what they did here. As far as I can tell, they got under it, and over it. And possibly avoided LOS,
as we see at the cargo containers around 3:00.

Me on Emet, Wire on Mag, and Matrix on Alice managed to take down the Spider last night/morning. The EB version has about 50-60% of the damage of AV version
(at least for the Psi DoT Aura), as Emet with 6% Psi resist was taking about as much as Amber was from the AV, except Amber has 33% resist. When I nom'd a
few oranges and got Psi resist to 50-ish, damage fell to 96. We had several heroes that helped take down the Pre-Psi Spider, but when it went Psi on us the
went down it short order. Also, as I suspected, Emet was not of any real use in the fight. Taunt and Hurl were the only attacks I could use, and when the Psi
came out I got slapped with anywhere between -165% to -400% recharge, giving me about a once per minute attack rate. I think the only solution to this is the
tried-and-true way of the Insp. Gather up your bar full of Oranges and when the Psi starts coming out, OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!
