So very, very hilariously apt.

I'm now tempted to run an ITF with this sort of team. :lol

now that is neat! It would be fun try and make some of those characters in-game. You know you aren't doing my altitus any good OM... :p

(ps: typed from my itouch. I apologize for any typos.)
I foresee much destruction and but-kicking, right up until the brick wall that is Romi.

Unless of course they want to go with the insane out-damage-the-fuzzies approach.

Oh, man. Badb did that once on a PUG. (Do not try this at home.) None of us had done it before, it had been crazy hard (EBs everywhere!) but we had a stubborn
and powerful (if somewhat dyfunctional) team, so we kept chewing our way through. This was also before some of the crazy kheld ambushes were added. Then we hit
Rom, and Rom hit back. Wait, wait, I have to do this right:

No shit, there we were. Rom is laying people out left and right, crazy purple stuff is flying every which way. And the ambushes... the
ambushes. Finally, we knock Rom down, and BOOM, he gets right back up and lays into us again. And I'm thinking 'a AV with self-rez! @#$! awesome!'
and we slowly beat him down again. BOOM, he gets back up. WTF? Team wipe follows. Meltdown. There's no regrouping, people just get up or get back however
they can, fast as they can and get clobbered, rinse and repeat. Finally, we all manage to get back in the fight at the same time but of course when we manage
to knock him down, he gets up again. The off tank logs out. Ambushes come swarming in again, and Rommy kills the main tank. I click all the green buttons and
Badb tanks him long enough for the real tank to get back up. (This is why I have a self-rez.) But we're still not getting anywhere. Finally,I have Badb
attack the fluffy Nicti not out of tactics but because they're PISSING ME OFF. Seriously, it's hard to see with all that purple, slowy debuffy damage
flying around, much less fight. And the squishies are probably at the debt cap. They're spending more time dead than alive.

Someone thinks I know what I'm doing. "Everyone target the Nictus!" We slowly, painfully, bring them down. Not in the ideal order, by any means,
even if we'd know there was one, by this time we've chased each other all over half the map and they all look the same, but eventually we get them all.
Then we turn on Rommy in an insane fury, and HE STAYS DEAD. Much rejoicing. The crowd goes wild. We congratulate each other and, to a player, log off in total
exhaustion. Total time to TF completion is nearly 6 hours. Probably 2 of them spent locked in combat with Rom.

I hear they've made him tougher since then.

(This post brought to you by the wobbly goblin, who woke me up at the crack of dawn this morning and then zonked out after I'd had my coffee.)
Me and Wire had a -very- successful ITF run yesterday. Record Time of 1h:18min. Also due to some wonky pulling to the side, I had trouble pullin him off Mag
til he res'd. But the important note to point out is he res'd so he must have died, even when close to the fuzzies. So ya, it is possible to do it. I
don't want to really try more than I have to, but it is possible.

Actually, given some to-hit debuff on the healing Nictus, it's easy.

I've been digging deeper into ITF.. the Healing Thingy checks on to-hit, so if the healer can't _hit_, it can't _heal_.

Another alternative, with /kin and /rad onboard, is to just outdamage the healing nictus O_O

wow, there is something to try next time I roll with gamma, Don't nuke Romi, nuke the healing fuzzy, don't bother separating the group.

As long as they are all bunched together, they all get the debuffs...

hmmm.
