According to this
article, City of Heroes is coming to the Mac. Apparently it will
be out "before the holidays," although the article doesn't say which holidays. ;-)
*snort*
because noone's been using Cedega already to run CoH on the mac...
REALLY nice to see it getting official support, though!
Edit: Per TFA, the GMA 950 in older macbooks doesn't work, which means that GMA-950 equipped mac users will.. have to download and install Cedega
instead?
huh.

Hmm, nice. Will it be a free download for those of us who already play, or is the $20 to cover Cedega and Apple licensing fu?

Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make
anything explode.
It appears that the $20 is for the "Mac Special Edition" which includes the Mac client, a month of game play, a Valkyrie costume set, a
teleport-to-your-mission power and an Apple chest logo (sorry, just kidding about the Apple logo.) Once you've applied it to an account--new or
existing--you have access to everything from any client.
According to Positron and Lighthouse, if you don't want to pay for the goodies, the Mac client will be a free download (like the Windows client) and if you
just want the goodies, they will be available as a booster pack (similar to Good vs. Evil pack) early next year.
..Nevermind. I need to read stuff before asking questions.

...will the goodies be available for purchase by those of us who don't use a Mac? ^.^

"Well that guy's nekkid."
I was just going to ask that myself, Lurker. I want that costume and the power. The Apple logo I can take or leave.

Then the horns kicked in...
...and my shoes began to squeak.
For those goodies? Including a free month?
Yeah, I'll pay $20.

I pre-ordered it today. Hopefully by the time it comes out, I'll have some free time again.
