His Lovely Wife

Uhm, is it wrong of me to have forgotten what I15 was all about?
new SF, new TF (NOT coop! yay!), new costume bits, dominators got changed a LOT, new costume change emotes..

And MA is more awesome then before.
Seems fairly understandable, given that there *is* no overarching theme that I can see in these patch notes. Some stuff looks interesting though.

Random comments in dubious order:

*Prisoners removed as a villain group in Mission Architect.

... Why?

*"Dev Choice" missions have selectable reward types, you can choose between earning Tickets or normal rewards.

Love. I've been kind of avoiding "dev choice" missions, because I'd rather get tickets.

*Soulbound Allegiance: These enhancements will now enhance summoned pets, provided their summoner is Security Level 50.

I don't quite understand what this is saying it does. '.'

*Removed the damage bonus granted from Domination and increased Melee Damage Modifier from .75 to 1.05 and Ranged Damage Modifier from .65 to .95. This will
allow the Dominator to deal greatly improved damage regardless if they are in Domination mode or not.

That sounds interesting.

I seem to remember reading that it was going to become possible to take existing 'critters' and give them different names and descriptions. Is that in
here somewhere, or has that been put off? (This would really help on the arc I'm working on.)

-Morgan.
Well, the "theme", such as it is, was "what can we get ready in time for the anniversary", as I recall.

For all the anniversary hype, i15 is much like the Midnighter issue in that it's mostly filler before something bigger (presumably Going Rogue)

Interesting... even the Updater changed.

..The first thing I noticed when logging on was the change/improvement upon sound effects, IE:Running around, opening doors..

This is indeed in, and the filesize savings are impressive.

I should spend some time putting together the Amanda arc, now that I have the tools to actually do so...

From what I understand, SA was only affecting pets that were level 50 themselves - a problem when Mastermind minions or Fire Imps summon at one or
two levels below the caster. Now it should affect any pet used by a level 50 character.
For some reason the new door sounds are bugging me. I don't know why.

The new foley for footsteps, though, is awesome.

Reichsman Task Force: Simple, direct, and fun, done in 2 hours, absolute max, and that's if you're taking your time.

Reichsman Strike Force: Simple, direct, and then you hit the last level which will take approximately 75% of the time spent on the overall Strike Force as you
slog through Ambushes Unlimited(TM), unless you catch Mako's dialogue and have a Stalker to take advantage of the weakness...and even then, Reichsman will
take FOREVER.

From what I'm hearing on the official boards, there are supposed to be click-activated temp powers granted for the Reichsman final fight...on the villain side. MMs get a power to kick him out of phase, Stalkers get a power that lets them sneak into the control room, Doms get a megahold for the ambushes, Corrs get a power that instakills anything that's held, and so on.

Either we missed something important or they weren't granted to us - because I'm certain I didn't receive a temp besides the autobuffs. Did any of you folks?

Haven't done the SF yet, but I have seen that some of the newer temp powers don't automatically manifest on the power bars. They show up in the power
menu, but you have to manually add them. Maybe it's a bug.

I keep a power spot open on my 4th bar for that reason, but didn't see anything fill it. I didn't think to check the temp powers list though, so
it's possible it went there...
Yeah, the folks on the official forums are suggesting it only dropped in the temp powers list instead of a tray (I did keep a power slot open on my main tray, you see; I didn't see anything appear).
Another guy suggests that since click powers have similar names to the autobuffs, I may have missed it when I went looking in my powers window - optical illusion, as it were, didn't notice one of them wasn't an auto.
It's possible...

Kyoumen

I didn't get any click powers either time I ran it redside. I deliberately checked, as well.
I guess it's still borked.
We could run it again to see?[1] ;p

[1]Yes, I -am- a glutton for punishment. Also, a day off work for Canada Day tomorrow ;p
after reading through the thread on the official forums, there were a lot of balanced teams that couldn't make it surprsingly.
Brute/corr/mm/stalker/dom/VEATs all working together couldn't bring him down, but 4MMs and 2 Corrs could do it, even if it took forever and a half.

I'm actually pretty proud that we could take him down with the group we had yesterday, and without the (supposed) clicky temp powers. Even Old Reichy could
be dubuffed to the point of non-return Big Grin
Well I will happily bring clank along for an attempt at this
