Yes, once again, it's time for a variation of that fun thread where you show the rest of us what music you associate with which of your characters.
If possible, try to give links to the music via youtube or some other service.
I'm limiting my first post here to my current "Mains". The ones that are currently getting the most play time and "headspace" time.
(Just a suggestion - but right click and open in new tab on the links - 'cause NONE of the videos that go with the songs in question have ANYTHING to do with the characters in question. Just the music.)
Cyberman 8:
Paul Oakenfold - Ready Steady Go
Rob Dougan - Will You Follow Me?
Joe Satriani - Surfing With the Alien
Ramin Djawadi - Iron Man OST - "Driving With the Top Down"

Kara Skye:
Joe Satriani - If I Could Fly
Juno Reactor - Guardian Angel
Lora'Lai:
Gabriela Robin - "Moon"
Chrystal Method - Keep
Hope Alive

Lily the Diamond:
Fuel - Won't Back Down
The Gone Jackals - Born Bad

Caerula Sanguis:
Ladytron - Destroy everything you Touch
Nightwish - Bye Bye Beautiful

EDIT: Added "Driving with the top down" to Cyberman 8's music list.
Wide Receiver:

Hank Williams Jr. - Are You Ready For Some Football?

Goldie Hawn and others - Football/Wildcats

1985 Chicago Bears - The Superbowl Shuffle

I'd include "Freddy the Freshman" and "You Gotta Be a Football Hero" but I can't find any vids of JUST the songs.

Lady Nogitsune

Meiko Kaji - Urami Bushi

MotherMeyai
Theme from "The Donna Reed Show"
Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

I'll add more as I find them
''We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat
them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.''

http://www.youtube.com/wa...L0A8&feature=related I know some of you don't think much of the Series, but I Like DBZ and I like the song. and I feel..this suits terr alot more when he simply has no choice but to -be serious-
Hey Bob? Some of your links go to stuff that's been taken down.

Ack. That's what I get for using an old file of theme songs. Got guests over right now, I'll have to find replacements later.

Well, I'm guessing I don't listen to enough music to get theme songs, but so far:
Emet: 16 Tons - Tennessee Ernie, also cover by Rockapella (Ernie and Barry are great Bass singers

The Master said: "It is all in vain! I have never yet seen a man who can perceive his own faults and bring the charge home against himself."

>Analects: Book V, Chaper XXVI
For reference, part one is here.

Old business: The song I couldn't recognize for Morganite of AJ4R? "Good to be Alive", DJ Rap. (Of course, I haven't played this character in approximately forever, and am unlikely to start now...)

New business:

... Is going to be a real pain, since most of my music is stuck on the hard drive from my old computer that *hasn't* been placed in a usb enclosure yet. (And Best Buy was sold out of them today. Grrr.)

Kurukuriel: "Sanctify Yourself", Simple Minds. Wouldn't have thought of it if I hadn't looked back at some of my music related livejournal posts, but some parts seem interestingly appropriate for a devil angel of war, or whatever the hell that girl are.

... No good ideas on the others right now. Giving Shia an AT song still seems wrong.

-Morgan.
"Beach Baby" and "Santa Ana Wind" now go to live links.

And yes, I have considered the possibilities inherent in "Jackie Frost and the HoodedCrow".
