Stalker Changes: Wow. The Revamped AS while out of hide is -very- nice with the new assassins focus mechanic. AS comes out hella fast and does very nice damage. Anyone who has a stalker they plan to play or are playing fairly regularly really should check out the changes on Beta.

The Beast Mastery powerset (for MMs) is, according to the devs a "teaser." All the animations are placeholders from other sets and the pets are untextured. But it is out there.

New control set, that's definitely interesting. But the real question is.. have they fixed the flipping character transfer tool yet? -.-

Any special weapon type?  or just a plain stick?  I know I'm making a Staff fighting toon, but I'm still eager to see the weapon models for it.

From the Tsoo Staff fighters, I've seen the trusty buck-and-a-quarterstaff, and a bladed staff like a naginata. I figure there will be other sorts of polearms (glavie, halberd, etc)

SWEET! Lady Iron will get her re-roll as staff (assuming those will be available to us) as may Lemon if there's a broom/mop humor weapon.

Oh something to note. Better have your purple inspirations on tap at all times when your running any of the Dark Astoria content. -All- Enemies have 64% To hit Vs CoH/CoV's standard 50%

Note I didn't comment on Praetoria since I'm not sure if all mobs or only some in Praet have the higher To-Hit value as well.

Side note:Both Talons of Vengeance and the Revamped BP mobs are all sorts of nasty with debuffs and exotic damage. Especially End Drain/Recovery Debuff. Watch your End Bars!
