Collective Soul's 'The World I Know'
Has our conscience shown?
Has the sweet breeze blown?
Has all kindness gone?
Hope still lingers on.
I drink myself of newfound pity
Sittin' alone in New York City
And I don't know why.
Are we listening
To hymns of offering?
Have we eyes to see
Love is gathering?
All the words that I've been reading
Have now started the act of bleeding Into one.
Into One.
So I walk up on high
And I step to the edge
To see my world below.
And I laugh at myself
While the tears roll down.
'Cause it's the world I know.
It's the world I know.
I drink myself of newfound pity
Sittin' alone in New York City
And I don't know why.
Don't know why.
So I walk up on high
And I step to the edge
To see my world below.
And I laugh at myself
While the tears roll down.
'Cause it's the world I know.
It's the world I know.
Yeah, I walk up on high
And I step to the edge
To see my world below.
And I laugh at myself
While the tears roll down.
'Cause it's the world I know.
It's the world I know.

A possible gatesong or a gate back to a world Doug has visited perhaps?
Although that line about all the words bleeding into one is kinda worrying Tongue_______________________________
We're definitely playing this game wrong. I thought Vampire was supposed to be a game of personal horror, not about ninja magic-carpet airstrikes at night.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. THERE IS ONLY WAR!

Actually, that makes this a good gatesong to get Doug out of the R.O.D the TV universe... And the lines "And I step to the edge / To see my world below" indicate he's going somewhere up high.
I call "dibs" on this one, for the setup for the GGG stagger I'm writing...

Actually, I suggested this song back in early Febuary, as the song that finally gets Doug home.
