Belinda Carlisle - Heaven Is A Place On Earth
===============================================
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
When the night falls down
I wait for you
And you come around
And the world's alive
With the sound of kids
On the street outside
When you walk into the room
You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above
And you lift me up in a wave of love...
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
When I feel alone
I reach for you
And you bring me home
When I'm lost at sea
I hear your voice
And it carries me
In this world we're just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
Baby I was afraid before
But I'm not afraid anymore
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
(instrumental)
In this world we're just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
Baby I was afraid before
But I'm not afraid anymore
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth

It could describe Bell and K-1....I have a vision of Asgard showing up at the temple site.

I'd originally thought of using this in DW1; Delandra is an orphan, and I'd considered having Doug give her a "reunion" with her parents (out of which would come some plot-relevant information about their deaths). But I decided that would be way, way too powerful. Asking a god for a resurrection is one thing; actually forcing heaven and earth to overlap by the strength of his metagift is another. It went on the scrap heap. But yeah, maybe it would be good for DW5, at the very least as an atmosphere piece.

Abso-frackin-lutely, Doug.
Somewhere, I have a Belldandy-starring AMV of this song. Let me dig for it...

Huh, and here I'd have thought that for the duration of the song, all females in range both experience some form of extasy and are presented with a simulacrum of the one(s) they love most.

Skitz
Well, that is a better use of it than I had in mind, yes. Remember, sometimes the story drives the choice of song and power...
