Hey, Bob, has 'the' Gate Song been chosen yet?

The one that takes him home?

Strangely enough, Helen and I have been recently discussing that, as part of the DW13 development. I'll just say this... there isn't one. But Doug gets home.

As soon as I learned who was co-writing DW XIII, I thought something like that might be happening...

I think the way we're going to handle this -- a compromise between what I wanted and Helen wanted which turned out, in the end, to possibly be better than either of our ideas alone -- will be nothing anyone will expect. At least not until about 5 seconds before it happens.

Let me put it this way: we....

No. No more hints. I spoil too much, the claim evaporates. As it is, I've now given you guys years to brainstorm all possibilities before the last chapter comes out, and by the Law of Big Numbers it becomes inevitable that you'll hit on it, if only by random chance.

My last-ditch guess... Doug doesn't find a gate-song to WW, he finds one to Third Earth and then just uses whatever transport is already available between the two. Smile

Make that four possibilities...
