Let's add some scary painted faces, big floppy shoes, and neon wigs to the fight, shall we?
Quote:Isn't it rich?

Are we a pair?

Me here at last on the ground,

You in mid-air.

Send in the clowns.

Isn't it bliss?

Don't you approve?

One who keeps tearing around,

One who can't move.

Where are the clowns?

Send in the clowns.

Just when I'd stopped

Opening doors,

Finally knowing

The one that I wanted was yours,

Making my entrance again

With my usual flair,

Sure of my lines,

No one is there.

Don't you love farce?

My fault, I fear.

I thought that you'd want what I want -

Sorry, my dear.

But where are the clowns?

There ought to be clowns.

Quick, send in the clowns.

What a surprise.

Who could foresee

I'd come to feel about you

What you'd felt about me?

Why only now when i see

That you'd drifted away?

What a surprise.

What a cliché.

Isn't it rich?

Isn't it queer?

Losing my timing this late

In my career?

And where are the clowns?

Quick, send in the clowns.

Don't bother - they're here.
Or maybe not. ...

Sucrose Octanitrate.
Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode.
That was one of the Broadway great ballads..*sob*

I think this would qualify as "psychological warfare".... although potentially useful if Doug learns that a target he wants to incapacitate but not kill has a phobia of clowns....

Mm. Yes, a bit specialized unless we start deconstructing the lyrics within the context of the show they were written for.

Then the horns kicked in...
...and my shoes began to squeak.
Alternately, it could summon a column of Army of the Republic Clonetroopers, ala the song that summons a marching band. You know, send in the clones like the Emperor did with General Order 66. The song even fits the whole Anakin/Padme forbidden romance thing, thoguh more from Padme's perspective.

It just seems like a much more Dougs-subconscious-is-screwing-with-him-again oddball result than Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
