Starscream looked down at the human in amusement. "You think you can stop me, fleshling? I'd like to see you try."
Doug smirked back "Well, if you insist.

I'm thinking this would be the perfect setting in which to use I Can't Drive 55 and Highway Star, myself...
(No, I'm not going to write it. BSBW comes first...)

I can't write it either; I don't know the setting at all save for a few names.

For the sake of your sanity, I'd try to fit it in early in the series, when there's a relatively small number of 'bots and 'cons to remember.
For a real mind-blower, try to find Takara's original names for all the Transformers, like Convoy for Optimus Prime.

oh hells yeah - especially if this occurs when Hot Rod is struggling with the Matrix of Leadership, and Doug has to play 'The Touch' for him...Wire Geek - Burning the weak and trampling the dead since 1979
That'd be interesting. But what'd be preventing Doug from giving Wheelie the 'This Corrosion' treatment, besides a few easily distracted Dinobots?
And ya I'd see this stagger being more in the G1 cartoon or comic universe, for Beast Wars - set too far in the past, Beast Machines - too odd, TF:RID - annoying kids & odd? TF: Armada & Energon - oddness & Unicron. Then there's the japanese only series's. Still G1 & Beast Wars are avaliable on DVD if anyone needs to catch up. The comics...bit harder for Marvel US & UK had differing storlines & locating copies of 'em now might be a bit troublesome, I don't think a TPB collection exists.
Still womping of fan fav characters would be good. I'm still puzzleing out how Starscream's managed to get Fangirls. Perhaps it's the percieved Megatron/Starscream dom/sub relationship....*shudder* (not to mention the Armada-Starscream/Alexis thing)

.Err... I think 'The Touch' was actually written for the Transformers movie... so Doug would have had to have seen the actual movie first. That or the equivalent, which would probably mean that G.I. Joe existed in a universe Doug has been to.
Starstream would be a rather bad choice for a boyfriend. A bad boy. He is relatively hansom, smart, foreword looking, has lofty personal goals he actually works at, he is capable of achieving goals, competent, and minimizing his personal loses... G1 Starstream is also not wholly trustworthy in a relationship, backstabbing, capable of using people as fodder and fall guys, and evil. He is the guy parents don't want to get brought home, though less grubby and more effectively evil. Starscream can also make you laugh.
Looking into the minds of 14 year old girls that are interested in yaoi (they look so cute standing next to each other, they should be a couple) and boybands... is like reading Cthulu's diary.
I think its technically Nightscream in Armada, not Starscream... the US company was to cheap to license the extra names and reused many, many names for characters in recent series.
I'd like to see Doug's reaction to the official title(s) of the ruler of the oil rich country of Carbombya (the ruler says it repeatedly). Best episode for comedy ever. Not sure if Doug would compliment him on his honesty or crack up laughing... or just look at him funny.
The country is the Socialist Democratic Federated Republic of Carbombya. The ruler is Supreme Military Dictator, King of Kings and Present For Life, Abdul Fakkadi.
