We are what we're supposed to be
Illusions of your fantasy
All dots and lines that speak and say
What we do is what you wish to do
We are the cartoon symphony
We do the things you wanna see
Frame by frame, to the extreme
Our friends are so unreasonable
They do the unpredictable
All dots and lines that speak and say
What we do is what you wish to do
It's all an orchestra of strings,
Doing unbelievable things
Frame by frame, to the extreme
One by one, we're making it fun
We are the Cartoon Heroes, Oh oh oh
We are the ones who're gonna last forever
We came out of a crazy mind, Oh oh oh
And walked out on a piece of paper
Take a Spiderman, an arachnophobian
Welcome to the toon town party
Take a superman from nevernever land
Welcome to the toon town party
We learn to run at speed of light
And to fall down from many heights
It's true but just remember that
what we do is what you just can can't do
I know the route of craziness
A bunch of dots that's chasin' us
Frame by frame, to the extreme
One by one, we're making it fun
We are the Cartoon Heroes, Oh oh oh
We are the ones who're gonna last forever
We came out of a crazy mind, Oh oh oh
And walked out on a piece of paper
Take a Spiderman, an arachnophobian
Welcome to the toon town party
Take a superman from nevernever land
Welcome to the toon town party
You'll think we're so mysterious
Don't take us all too serious
Be original, and remember that
What we do is what you just can can't do
What we do is what you just can can't do
What we do is what you just can can't do
What we do is what you just can can't do
What we do is what you just can can't do
We are the Cartoon Heroes, Oh oh oh
We are the ones who're gonna last forever
We came out of a crazy mind, Oh oh oh
And walked out on a piece of paper
There's still more to come,
And everyone will be
Welcomed at the

Wow. Either that was spectacularly uninteresting to the community, or I'm losing readership...

Nah, it's probably more the fear factor inherant to an Aqua song.

I never heard of Aqua until Barry Cadwgan pointed me at this and one other of their songs. What's so wrong with them?

The only Aqua song that I've ever heard was "Barbie Girl", which was both horrible and horribly amusing.
Oh, yeah, now that you mention it... You know, I've never actually heard "Barbie Girl", but I've heard N-many parodies of it all over the place. It can't possibly be as bad as those...

It is, be content with your ignorance.
Wellll..... Lesse.
In the chorus you've got the lines "Come on Barbie, Let's go party..." repeating several times.
In fact, here's the opening Stanza.
"I'm a Barbie girl, In a Barbie world
It's so fantastic, wrapped in plastic!"
And it goes downhill from there.... You have been warned.
"I was an Otaku before those kids came along and changed the meaning of the word."

Hear that thunder rolling till it seems to split the sky?
That's every ship in Grayson's Navy taking up the cry-

NO QUARTER!!!
-- "No Quarter", by Echo's Children
The fact that there's an AMV outthere based on Chobits ("Chii!") with a cover (I think) of that song doesn't (another word for improvement, begins with A) matters, but in some degrees it is a better song than that Britpop 'Fast Food Junkies' one.
--Rod.H (who thinks the Neo Cutey Honey theme's rather spiffy)
"Oh why, canna I get Dr. Demento down here instead of Rob Jan's (the aus guy who got a letter in Iron Man #69) 'Zero G Hour'."
