Don't know that one, Bluemage - I really can't recognise Japanese unless it's something spoken that I've heard over and over, written text is impossible at my pathetic level.

Two great tastes that go great together!

That's surprising-the Japanese I was using was the incantation for the Giga Slave. You know the Dragon Slave, but not its big brother?
Try not to take offense, as I can't think of another way of asking this: I'm asking purely out of curiousity, without any pretensions of superiority. Have you seen the series? Was this a language issue, or a knowledge one?
I knew that spell before I got to see Slayers, just from fanfiction, so I'd really love to know where you picked it up.
If I had to guess, the wording of the Dragon Slave that you use would suggest that you've either picked it up from fanfic, or watched the dub- if you'd heard the original Japanese, it'd be hard to forget either the Dragon or Giga Slaves.
Buuuut, I might just be blowing smoke here: There's a 87% chance that I'm wrong*.

I got given a copy of the dub of Slayers on VHS, that's all I've seen (not even Slayers Next) aside from the first movie, also as a VHS dub. Since I don't even own a VHS deck any more, it's been some time since I saw even those... I'd rather have used Venon from Bastard!! but I can't ever keep that one straight and it doesn't warp so easily to be fic-specific. Let's see, with help from el Goog...

Actually, anyone who dosn't actually know japanese would have a hard time recognizing that incantation unless they've specifically looked it up at some point; without the meanings attached to the words they become far less memorable.
I've seen every animation of Slayers I've ever heard of and only recognize the first line. *shrug*

Um... are you sure its a good idea to shoot antimatter at that? Its likely to make it stronger as its too bad to be made of matter... its sucks to the point of going into negative quality. It actually manages to syck the quality of fiction surrounding itself just to anchor itself to this universe without self destruction or imploding or canceling itself out with the electrons that present it to the world.
I'd suggest using balefire, that would obliterating it backwards in time undoing some of what it has done to the world.
I tried reading through 2 chapters... then started reading the reviews instead. The fact this entity is still around to annoy us (having not sacrificed themself to the razer gods in protest of people's reviews) makes me think troll... the reviews are now longer that the 'story' itself.

Yeah, it really is that bad. I think, tohugh, that it's a case of writing for herself and a select group of friends, and the rest of the world can go claw out our eyes.
... And the mention of balefire reminded me of what I should have used from the beginning - and it's one of my own moves at that. (Warning, Angelfire page, it's about 2/3 down the page under Flash Finishers) Chrooooonossss.... CRUSHER!!

If you have any doubts, compare the writing in the first chapter to the 38th. The author is deliberately playing to the crowd here.

I just tried to read this.....this..... I don't know what! There are NO words for this THING that masqurades as a fic. I could not get past the first three or for chapters. I had to force my self to read past the first chapter. I'm going to have to go read Realms By Jeffrey Vasques or something to get this bad taste out of my brain.

I strongly suggest that you find a Perfect Collection online- I got mine off of eBay for about $50. All 78 eps of the three series (all of which is worth having, and *definitely* worth watching), in dual-language. Trust me- the Japanese is *far* better than the dub- the original voices are to the dub, as the 'fic' here is to a real piece of badly written fic.Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines...

Well, that is entirely a matter of opinion.
Especially considering that in its day, the Slayers dub was a big fricking deal, outsold the sub 10 to 1, and made Lisa Ortiz into a prima-donna (or had her want a fair wage, depending on who you ask).
