No, I didn't create http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/F ... egumCrisis]this page - if I had, there would be a lot more than one recommendation on it. But somebody did.

If anybody wants to add some more recommendations, so that Bert's story isn't lonely, please do so there...

Well, I just added Amanda's site.

I'm sure someone will want to add DW2 -- I won't do it because it would be tacky for me to add my own fic.

What else should go in? Twisted Path 3? A Wolf In Crisis? A Certain Point of View? Bubblegum Pink?

ETA:  Geeze, I'm prone to depression right now... I was just browsing through a directory I have of BGC fics and thinking, "Whoa, it seems like I was just reading this a couple months ago.  It was 1998?  Where did my life go?"  And suddenly I'm swamped by the feeling I've wasted a decade or more...

That last one, definitely - with a mention of "DYO!"

I'm debating adding http://www.jhedge.com/story/anime/helpyou.htm]one of Jeanne's shortfics...

Wow. Lots of things that aren't there but should be (IMO, of course).

Just a few of my personal favorites that aren't there, in no particular order. (I might have added some of these, but I can't figure out how it
works). I'm with Bob, btw. 1994??? I remember when some of this stuff first appeared!

Shawn Hagen's No Armor Against Fate series (all 5 stories; the problem is, do you go with the original NAAF or the re-write, NeoNAAF?)

Innpchan's Yearnings and Dance
of Armor

Bernard & Johan Khoo's Dr. Wu and Southern Cross (links are to gzip files)

Martin Pay's Aftershock

Marco de la Cruz's Retribution (what, did you think his BGC fics were only
"whack-a-Knight-Saber" stories?)

And for those who don't mind the particularly twisted (if well written):

Bob Schroeck's A Wild and Untamed Thing...

Thanks, Rob.

As for Bubblegum Pink, absolutely it should be there.

Glen Hough's Bubblegum Crusade.

Deeply flawed, and yet deeply awesome.

"Gravity is a harsh mistress."
Shawn Hagen's stuff should go up there, too.

You know, folks... it's a wiki. You can just go there and add them to the page without much ado. Might even take less effort than posting them here.

Go right ahead, Jeanne. I won't post recs for my own fics.

I am not registered at tvtropes actually, and im leery of gettign into the habit of contributing.

It already devours hours spidering it if im not careful :-)
You don't need to be registered to add anything, and as long as you put a name on the "recommended by" line your recommendation will stand.

I probably would except, as I wrote earlier, I can't figure out where or how to go about adding anything on that page. The only links that
seems to actually do anything either want your login, or want you to create a login. You just posted that you don't need to do anything like that
(register) to add something. So how does anyone go about adding anything there?

If you read the login prompt they supply you with a password. it's there to stop spambots.
E: "Did they... did they just endorse the combination of the JSDF and US Army by showing them as two lesbian lolicons moving in together and holding hands and talking about how 'intimate' they were?"
B: "Have you forgotten so soon? They're phasing out Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

So then registration IS required. OK.

OK, I think I see how it works now. Really, I'm not usually this dense.
