Enh. I enjoyed reading it.
Holy damn. That one reads like a short story from a professional writer.

My apology, somehow my brain confused you with an entirely different person for which your statement would have been a staggeringly ludicrous example of pot calling the kettle black.
Something from an author who's been mentioned here, but I don't think this fic has.
Glaring Problems
Naruto is tired of being glared at by the citizens of Konoha. So he seeds the town with shadow clones to glare at everyone. Naturally, things get weirder.
While there are some leaps in the capabilities of shadow clones that I find a bit questionable, it's enough fun that I don't really care. (And has the funniest resolution of the Zabuza fight I've ever seen.)

My NaNoWriMo project this year is chugging along nicely:
Division by Zero
It's a Whateley Academy / Familiar of Zero crossover.

A couple of Code Geass AU fanfics. Same premise, hell, quite a common premise...but they take the idea in very different directions. An unwilling Lelouch gets discovered by Clovis, and is forced by the Emperor to serve in the Britannian military. Both are ongoing and have recent updates.
Dauntless by
Allora Gale is the better story. Tightly plotted and very convincing, much more serious in tone. Delves a lot into political and court intrigue. The author is excellent at creating an atmosphere of fear and paranoia.
Lelouch of the Revolution by
Lilyflower1987 is...not so polished, the kind of writing badly in need of proofreading. I mean, it'd pass spell-check, but some of those words are spelt right but
still the wrong words. If you can't stand that kinda thing, give this a miss. But I'm recommending it all the same because...although this is amateurish, it has interesting ideas and is kinda fun. It's got heart.

Xander Harris, The Boy Who Lived, is starting his third year at Hogwarts, complete with the memories of a 25-year-old former carpenter/Scooby/Watcher-type-guy, and his best friends, Ron and Hermione.
Harry Potter is starting a new school year at Sunnydale High, with his best friends Jesse and Willow, and the memories of a Hogwarts graduate and Auror lurking in his head.
