This idea has been popping into my head occasionally for the better part of a year.  Maybe by finally tossing it out here will evict it permanently.
The idea is:  The Millenium Falcon is cruising along in the Fringe with the Organa-Solo family aboard (Han, Leia, the 3 kids, Chewie and C-3PO) when some sort of anomaly sucks them in.  They get spit out in the same area, but in the middle of a battle between the Republic and the Sepratists (maybe it was the destruction/misfiring of some Sepratist superweapon that caused the anomaly).
Anyways, the Falcon ends up aboard the Republic flagship and is greeted by Jedi Padawan Asoka, who mentions her master Anakin Skywalker will be with them in a few minutes.
Cue stardestroyer-sized butterflies.

... well it would definitely be jabbing a hot needle in Palpatine's foresight, if nothing else. I'm not really up enough on the SWEU to comment in detail.

I think she's a character in the CGI clone wars cartoon that's on Cartoon Network. IIRC, she's Anakin's Padawan.

I mainly know her from Lego Star Wars III, but yeah, that's her. I tried to describe her, but Google Image Search is much more effective. As far as attitude, well, if Faith of BtVS was a Jedi, this is the kind of Jedi she'd be. Though without the part where she's actively in the service of an aspiring Dark Lord, this is still Good Anakin. Dunno what eventually happens to her, beyond "Yoda and Kenobi were the last Jedi alive by ANH."

Except that according to the EU that's clearly not the case, there are 'lost Jedi' popping up all over the place there.

They're certainly the only surviving members of the Jedi Council... but still.

Well, I assume everyone at least knows Han, Leia, Chewie, and Threepio.
The Solo kids (for those unfamiliar with the novels) are the twins Jacen(m) and Jaina(f), and their younger brother, Anakin.
For those not familiar with the Clone Wars cartoon, Asoka is Anakin Skywalker's studant, and as CD said, her attitude does resemble that of Faith the Vampire Slayer.  The series is set between 'The Clones Attack' and Revenge of he Sith'.
Some of the possiblities from this Bunny include:
- Anakin (Skywalker), Obi-Wan and the Jedi Council trying descide what to do with 1 virtually untrained force user (leia) and her 3 powerful and partially trained kids.
- Leia dealing with meeting her biological father, (who's currently younger than she is) and potentially meeting her biological mother and foster parents.
- the ability of the Solos to reveal Palpatine's true nature much earlier than he was planning.
- 2 C-3POs meeting and talking/complaining (Han: "Shoot me now.  Or better yet, shoot them.")
- Obi-Wan dealing with the headache of Anakin being a father and who the likely mother is.

About when in the EU timeline would you be pulling the Solos from? Depending on how trained the kids are, it could make a significant difference. (Also there's the twin bond, which is likely not something the old Jedi Order had much experience with.)

Also, we're ignoring paradoxes, right?

Necratoid

My first thought is what kind of data files are on the falcon/ with them in general... I think a holovid of how the 'Peace moon' actually works towards peace would screw things up historically.  I mean Alderon + Peace Moon equals asteriod belt comes to mind...  or the penchant of force users toward self fulfilling prophesies..  or how Jedi and force users can be married just fine... unless then spend years angsting about how things are going to go all wrong without fail.
Seriously... an hour of actually looking at the 'Peace Moon' plans and Akankin should be actively wondering why its hyperspace capable and why it has a continent sized beam cannon array.
The biggest issue is dragging out explaining things so that its not an infodump straight to Palpatine and soon enough to do something productive.  I'd start with explaining how their marriage actually works out... and how that relates to self fulfilling prophecies.
Umm... What? You do know that the Death Star was never actually intended for any sort of peaceful purpose, beyond a rule by fear type peace where everyone is too afraid to attack, right? The whole Peace Moon thing is a joke invented by Darths and Droids. I don't think anyone in the Republic besides Palpatine even knew the plans existed at all. And I severely doubt the Falcon would have the plans on it. They were probably destroyed or locked after the first Death Star was destroyed, to prevent anyone from getting ideas, not stored on someone's personal spaceship.

And why would anyone (except the jedi that can sense truth from lies) believe them about the Death Star? Its so ridiculous that it is unlikely that anyone would even consider it for a moment.
