This smells like Full Throttle plus Guitar Hero plus Fallout, and they had Dragonforce as a soundtrack during dev.

The guy who developed Psychonauts also worked on Full Throttle. As Yahtzee said, when Lucasarts decided to stop making clever games in favor of humping the Star Wars cash cow, they got rid of a bunch of clever ideas.
Don't know much about Dragonforce, but the tune being played during the trailer is "Mob Rules" by Black Sabbath. Off the "Heavy Metal" soundtrack. So, yeah, it's like that.Ebony the Black Dragon
