Reading over gaming news I came across this interesting article on Halo 3 and a bread-crumb trail of sorts that Bungie and Microsoft left for fans. But that's not the most interesting part: what is, the counter at the end of the trail. A counter in base 7. It skips every number containing a 7, 8, or 9 and each set resets itself to 113 each time the preceding one goes down by one.*********

They did this back with Halo 2 and ilovebees.com. It's a phenomenon called Alternate Reality Gaming. "Heroes" and "Lost" both had similar things going on with primatechpaper.com and The Hanto Group.Ebony the Black Dragon
