He got a mini-obit -- with a sound byte, too! -- on CBS national radio news this morning at 7AM Eastern. Amazingly, it was second slot behind the primaries, and before the storms that hit the northeast overnight.

I don't know why everyone's so upset, he'll just roll up a new character, right? A post on another message board I read made the point about how
much of modern culture has been effected by D&D. Outside of the paper and dice games themselves, all of the roleplaying video games, numerous book and
comic series, and more than a few rock bands and songs were influenced by D&D.
