The name of the game is simple: Take a movie, book, anime, video game or other property that is grimdark and realise something: that is actually the Mirror
Universe of the actual reality and in another timeline eveyrthing is much happier.
For example:
On day upstanding young man Light Yagami found a notebook on the ground, the so-called Death Note. In it was a list of names. It didn't take long before
Light discovered the awful truth, the name of every person who would be murdered before the end of their appointend life would appear in that notebook!
Light dedicates his life to saving people before they know they need to be saved, assisted by quirky super-sleuth L and reluctant but adoreable shinigami girl
Ryu-chan.
