Not sure about the guys on the cycles, but Real Life Person is, pretty certain, Jeff Bridges as Flynn.

--Sam

"Greetings, program."
In case you don't get it - the Light-cycle rider in yellow is CLU!! CLU is Flynn's program/alter-ego in the world of the computer who was also played
by Jeff Bridges in the original TRON. Just as TRON himself was Alan Bradley's program/persona (Played by Bruce Boxlietner).

Thing is - this is the YOUNG Jeff Bridges that we are seeing as CLU now.

From the few seconds of footage there that is available of his face, I have the following theory:

They are likely using a similar system to that used in Pirates of the Carribean and in Superman Returns of facial mapping (Davy Jones and Jor-El respectively).
There's plenty of footage and records of Jeff Bridges in the 80s, so they are using that data to build a contour map of his face. Then they are using a
facial mapping system on Jeff Bridges as he portrays CLU, so that they are then able to insert the younger face over the older one (or over a stunt player) and
his performance is retained, he simply now has the young face of his 80s self as his persona.
...Huh. So he is.

But CLU was deleted really early on, right? So... what, CLU 2.0 is the new Sark?

And who's the Blue rider? Bridges again?

--Sam

"Well that guy's nekkid."
I don't know who the blue rider is. But he's not Bridges (Flynn or CLU).

And CLU... Well CLU is a program. And if Flynn is ANY kind of decent computer expert, he'd have a back-up copy. As to whether he's the new SARK. I
don't know that either.

I'm hoping that Flynn and CLU are still both good guys. But it's been a long LONG time. (Especially in the computer world.) A lot can happen.
From the looks of Bridges, I get the Howard Hughes vibes..especially the eccentric part.

I think I'm the only person here who's never seen the original...

I've been writing a bit.
Don't feel too bad...it merely means you're not an old geezer...like the rest of us. Face it, Tron was shown in 1982.

Don't worry. Tron's been one of my all-time favorites. If it ever gets remastered to BlueRay, I'm gonna be all over that shit.
