It's apparently got multiple volumes of manga already, so there should be a good foundation to work from at least. Not that that's ever been a guarantee against bad writing or a bad adaptation, but at least it's not more by-the-walkthrough issekai slop or One Of Those Fucking Things.

No idea, I couldn't tell what the Final Fantasy logo/brush calligraphy style things sliding around were at all. Too stylized for my half-blind eyes.

Oh, cute reference in the Shrek teaser -- the art style in the storybook at the start is pretty much the same as the original William Steig children's book the first movie was based on.
