It's not taking the IP, it's someone else taking text you've written, and feeding it into a commercial AI that will edit it clumsily for personal profit. Just like AI art, it's theft, nothing more.

I have no issue with that, either. If people want to do anything with the over 4 million words I've posted (including my for-profit original stuff), be it AI or not, they can. You said it yourself, clumsily edit. If readers want that kind of writing, more power to the writers that can hold their nose and deliver it and make some money off of it.

ShaperV updated Moon Shot again! That's the Worm SI where ROB decided that the CYOA's Inspired Inventor made things too easy, so they just tossed the MC in with a single setting's ultratech (roughly Star Warsy, but based on ShaperV's own professionally published sci fi book series) and had String Theory blow up the moon a week later, so now it's a race against time to gear up enough to let a viable population survive the ongoing combined orbital bombardment/nuclear winter/tectonic upheaval apocalypse. This makes it easily the most original and interesting Worm AU I have ever seen, helped along of course by Shaper's generally excellent writing quality.
