It did. In this case, the "balloon" is the Death Star... assuming you're watching the same version of the movie that the original poster was. (There's at least three, differing in who shot first in the cantina.)

Well, of course they are. Canada routes most of Mr. Claus's post as much of his mail comes from North America.
