- classicdrogn - 11-22-2013 Have you tried tossing your cookies? Sometimes it helps with weird issues like that. Purging bad data, I guess. -- "Anko, what you do in your free time is your own choice. Maybe I should consider upgrading Firefox...and yet I still dislike FF's constant fast-pace "new version every few weeks" cycle (too much too fast, in my view)... - Bob Schroeck - 11-22-2013 Try Seamonkey instead, Tennie. It's the same codebase on the browser, but they only update the suite every few months. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Jorlem - 11-26-2013 Quote:Tennie wrote:On the GUI end of things, if you do end up upgrading Firefox, I suggest installing this theme. It makes Firefox look decent, as opposed to the new look. As for FF.net, these three Greasemonkey scripts help quite a bit, in my opinion. (I will admit that I had to allow all the scripts too, which is annoying.) http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/179482http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/137789http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/135467 ----- Stand between the Silver Crystal and the Golden Sea. That does still release a new version every six weeks, but it's a "minor" or "micro" version, including only bugfix and/or security updates. The ESR resynchronizes to match the "rapid release" version once a year. That's offtopic, though, so if further discussion is desired it should be done elsewhere. - Pyeknu - 03-06-2014 Are people having trouble trying to upload new documents onto FF.net these days? I can't copy-and-paste, much less do a file upload. - BYapes - 07-30-2014 Rerezing the topic again to ask if anyone has had any problems today with accessing the site due to "invalid certificates" according to my browser. Brian Y. Seed Chronicles - classicdrogn - 07-30-2014 Yeah, it looks like the HTTPS "upgrade" is breaking them again. -- "Anko, what you do in your free time is your own choice. Use it wisely. Chrome appears to accept it. - classicdrogn - 07-31-2014 It appears to be fixed now. -- "Anko, what you do in your free time is your own choice. Use it wisely.
