I don't know.
I've been a fan of Skysaber's work for some time, and there are some similarities between their work. At least, I like Chunin Exam Day for pretty much
the same reasons that I liked Skysaber's Choice. (Haven't read Partially Kissed Hero, so can't comment on it. Not really into HP fanfic for the
most part.)
Perfect Lionheart though, seems a lot... calmer, really. And he's kept CED from completely going off the rails (in my opinion) for far longer than
Skysaber's managed with anything. (Though I don't consider it entirely his fault in My Gilded Life.)
Also, the timing seems a little weird, as there's quite a bit of overlap between the times some of their stories have been updated. What's the
motivation for maintaining two seperate identities in this way? (I know why I maintain two seperate online identities, it's because I have two sets of
people I know that I want to never ever meet. No way I'd have an obvious linkage like the favorite author thing.)
As for the choice of handle... well, given my self-appointments and things, I can't judge people on this. '.'
*shrug* I can't say it's impossible... but it doesn't feel quite right to me. I think it's at least as likely that PL is on Skysaber's
favorite author list because Skysaber *likes his stuff*. I know I often go through the favorite author list of authors whose stuff I like, because often
they've favorited people who write similar sorts of stories.

A lot of skysaber's nuttyness has always stemmed from the criticism he draws. A new pseudonym might be allowing him to avoid some of that and his actions
as a result.
But with CED, hasnt he also done a lot of character bashing as a result of reviews he didnt like? Thats been a skysaber practice for a long, long time.

And the handle has that flamboyant self-aggrandizing Skysaber sound -- "Perfect Lionheart".
ETA: I just took a quick look at his other recently-updated fic, "Hogwarts One Half". It's a straight adaptation of one of the "Rose At
Hogwart's" spin off threads from the Anime Addventure. Which adds a little weight to the argument he's actually Skysaber.

I'd like to point out one thing I remember that makes me go with the tribute band theory. One of the stalls in CED was because PL fought with his muse
over whether or not to bash Sakura endlessly... he actually lost that fight. I've commented before on how I felt the reason Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi
are bashed the most in CED is simply because they are the people he interacts with most, thus had the most time to obsess over the flaws of. Hell, Sakura
actually made progress as a person repeatedly throughout CED... the resets just washed it away. Above all the Naruto in CED is insane and gets worse gradually
as the resets go on. Things actually manage to progress in the story and there weren't any times that there was one big OOC author rant disguised as a
chapter... where everyone was brainwashed and suddenly talking with one voice, one at a time... like a Borg collective that took classes on sharing.
No, I can't believe Skysaber can keep coherent long enough to pull off a split character as being both Skysaber and Perfect Lionheart would require. I
just don't think that Skysaber is actually smart enough to pull this kind of thing off. Skysaber has always struck me as someone that would be a
sociopath, but isn't smart enough to lord his great intellect over everyone else and he keeps imploding as people ask questions he can't think of good
answers to and generally find holes in his story's plots and such.
Also, include an update in the update thread... we can have another thread if you guys want to continue this... also I know I'm being a bit of a hypocrite
