Tiny Silicon God. - Wiregeek - 03-13-2010 I just found out some interesting info about Dell's new product, the Axim II, Mini 5... It looks positively gorgeous. 800x480 display 1ghz snapdragon processor 3g/wifi Android 2.0 rumor has it that there is onboard HDMI connectivity, which makes this quite the interesting media player device... this may finally replace my tired old Axim x51v... QUITE intrigued, I am! Thoughts? "No can brain today. Want cheezeburger." From NGE: Nobody Dies, by Gregg Landsman http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5579457/1/NGE_Nobody_Dies - ECSNorway - 03-13-2010 Dang. Size? Cost? -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - Wiregeek - 03-13-2010 looks to be about 5" x 3", cost is unknown to me at this time. http://www.engadget.com/2.../dell-mini-5-we-have-it/ "No can brain today. I'm currently more interested in the iPad. --Rod.H - Kokuten - 03-14-2010 Whereas the Sony Vaio Q1 is between 1.5" and 1" thick, the Mini 5 is .6" thick... This is more a replacement for a PDA than an all-up Tablet PC.Wire Geek - Burning the weak and trampling the dead since 1979 |
